Two members of the terrorist grouping "Khachmaz Jamaat" were killed in the north of Azerbaijan, the State Security Service (SSS) of Azerbaijan has reported.

According to the Azerbaijani SSS, members of the grouping tried to arrange terror acts and rendered armed resistance during their detention. At the place of the incident, law enforcers found explosive devices, weapons and ammunition, the "News" reports.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported about the killing of three suspected militants in Azerbaijan in October 2017. They were killed in a shootout with law enforcers and planned to commit a terror act at a rally in Baku, the State Security Service of Azerbaijan reported.
