Administration head of Krasnosulin District attacked

Law enforcers are searching for suspects of attacking Nikolai Alshenko, the head of the administration of the Krasnosulin District of the Rostov Region.

The attack on Alshenko was committed at night on February 2 in his house in the dwelling settlement of Krasny Sulin.

"They attacked and beaten me up; it was really so; law enforcers are now sorting it out," the "Komsomolskaya Pravda-Rostov-on-Don" quotes Nikolai Alshenko as saying.

There were four attackers; they were masked and dressed in camouflage uniforms; they broke into the mansion of the official, beat up him and his wife, and then stole 157,000 roubles and the jewellery, the edition "161.ru" writes citing a source from the Rostov police.

The press service of the Chief Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) for the Rostov Region, without revealing the names of the victims, has confirmed the fact of the robbery in the Krasnosulin District; the police are searching for the suspects, the "Donday" reports.
