Emir of Argun killed

The emir of the town of Argun was killed in the Shali district of Chechnya yesterday, 11 July, reported RIA Novosti referring to the Chechen Interior Ministry. "The operation was conducted by the Kadyrov regiment of the ministry and the regional police department," a source at the ministry said. No details of the operation as well as the killed rebel's name have been disclosed.
