Social network users criticize preparation for Putin's visit to Rostov-on-Don

A Rostov woman posted on the Internet a photo showing workers painting at night a bridge near the "Rostselmash" plant. Social network users associated the painting works with the expected Putin's visit to the city.

"We are preparing for the Putin's arrival! Urgent painting of the bridge opposite the entrance of the 'Rostselmash' plant at 1:10 a.m. on February 1, 2018," Julia Moskalets has written today under her photo in the group "Rostov-Main-Rostov-on-Don News" in social network "VKontakte".

The photo shows people in orange uniforms painting the bridge at night, while spotlights are used for lighting.

Most commentators criticized such actions. "That's just disgraceful," wrote Roman Rastorguev. "A performance [...], right in the spirit of our whole life," Victor Benz agrees with Roman Rastorguev. "And this is being done for our money in front of our eyes!" Vlad Davidov expresses his indignation. "A circus performance and window dressing," Max Bed estimated the situation in the photo.

Some of the commentators also wrote that similar things took place in other regions. "It's the time for painting, and you can watch such a show everywhere in our country!!!" wrote, in particular, a user under the nickname "Excursions Kaliningrad (Koenigsberg), guided".
