In Sochi, parties to school conflict come to amicable agreement

Veniamin Kondratiev, Governor of the Krasnodar Territory, met persons involved in a school conflict in Sochi, as a result of which teacher Elena Nosova had been dismissed. The dismissed teacher and the school administration have agreed to conclude an amicable agreement, according to which the Elena Nosova's dismissal record would withdraw mentioning a dismissal under article and she would retract her claim to court.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that Elena Nosova, a teacher of a Sochi school, went to court with a request to reinstate her in school. The teacher associates her dismissal with the appearance on the Internet of her video about the poor condition of a classroom in her school.

Elena Nosova told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent that on January 29, at the school, from which she had been dismissed, she met Veniamin Kondratiev, Governor of the Krasnodar Territory.

The meeting was also attended by the school principal, Sochi Mayor Anatoly Pakhomov, Olga Medvedeva, the chief of the Department for Education and Science of Sochi, as well as members of the school collective.

"The Governor immediately interrupted an attempt to accuse me of posting the video on the Internet. He was interested only in one thing: why the school appeared to be in such a state and why I was dismissed under article," Elena Nosova said.

According to her, during the conversation, all the participants to the conflict came to the conclusion about the need to conclude an amicable agreement, withdraw the article from the dismissal record and make recalculation of the salary due to the dismissed teacher.
