Second earthquake in Armenia within 24 hours

An underground shock having magnitude of 2.2 points was recorded in the evening on January 24 in the Ararat Region of Armenia, 12 hours after the earthquake in the Shirak Region.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on January 24, an earthquake with the magnitude of 2.1 points was recorded 91 kilometres north-west of Yerevan.

There was no information about any victims and destruction caused by the earthquake.
