In Azerbaijan, residents of three districts affected by earthquake

In the Agdam District, 127 houses were damaged as a result of an earthquake, and 100 houses got cracks in the Barda District. Destructions and damages were also registered in the Terter District.

At 11:48 p.m. local time on November 15, an earthquake measuring 5.1 occurred 23 kilometres east of the Barda city. At 0:02 a.m. local time, another underground tremor measuring 3.2 was registered.

In the Agdam District, 127 private houses were damaged as a result of the seismic event, the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was informed by Eldaniz Abdullaev, an assistant to the head of the executive power in the Agdam District.

According to the official, those houses have got cracks earlier, but after the earthquake, the buildings appeared to be in an emergency condition. In the village of Uchoglan, a private house of Zakhra Safarova collapsed, and in the village of Tazakend, a school building came to an emergency condition. In the village of Guzanly, a transformer broke down, and some of the residents were deprived of electricity supply. Later, the electricity supply was restored, the official reported.

"No people were hurt," added Eldaniz Abdullaev.
