Lenin returns from museum to pedestal in Beslan

The monument to Lenin, demolished in 2002 and restored after storage in the Digora Museum, was returned to the pedestal in Beslan towards the centenary of the October Revolution.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that November 7, 2017, was a centenary since the armed uprising in Petrograd, which brought the Bolshevik Party to power.

The monument to Vladimir Lenin was installed on November 7 in Beslan on a pedestal in Komintern Street.

The installation of the monument was initiated the "Communists of Russia" Party; this is reported on the party's page in the social network "VKontakte".

For 15 years the monument was kept in the Digora Museum. On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the revolution, it was handed over to Kazbek Torkinov, the leader of the district branch of the "Communist of Russia" Party, who financed the restoration work, the "AIF-Northern Caucasus" edition reports.

Let us remind you that on the eve of the centenary of the October Revolution, a discussion arose in Russia about the burial of Vladimir Lenin's body. Gennady Zyuganov, the leader of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation (CPRF) launched a discussion in absentia with Ksenia Sobchak, a TV presenter, and Ramzan Kadyrov, the head of Chechnya, having accused supporters of Lenin's body burial of an attempt to split the society.
