In Yessentuki, police detain man suspected of attacking policemen

The police detained a man who had managed to escape after attacking policemen in Yessentuki.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that in the evening on October 25, in Yessentuki, two men began shooting at policemen who stopped them to check their IDs. Two policemen were wounded. One of the attackers was killed, while the second managed to flee.

"As a result of the hot pursuit, the criminal who opened fire on policemen in the city of Yessentuki was detained ... At present, the suspect has been taken to the GOVD (City Interior Division)," reported Irina Volk, the spokesperson for the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA), as quoted by the RIA "Novosti".
