Social network users discuss video with beating of Ingush people in Beslan

WhatsApp and social networks disseminate the evidence of beatings of people from Chechnya and Ingushetia in North Ossetia. According to authors of the reports, the victims came to take drugs from hidings. This was written on September 21 by Magomed Mutsolgov, the leader of the human rights organization "Mashr", the author of a blog at the "Caucasian Knot". He entitled his post as "What lies behind the fight against drug addicts in Ossetia?"

"Young people ... are beating them. They insult and humiliate them and shoot the process on video. Then those videos are posted the Internet ... The video shows the process when drug addicts, beaten, bloodied and with bruises are kept by young activists. They stand on their knees and suffer insults. However, despite all their negative way of life, they still remain human beings," wrote the rights defender.

On September 20, a Facebook user, aka Iron Ironov, posted on the page of the public group "Ossetia" a video showing beaten people. "Sooner or later, the whole story will end with a tragedy - a mass fight, shootout, or murder, and finally all that will grow into a large-scale international scandal. We should prevent that!" he wrote.

While commenting on the post, many social network users did not approve extrajudicial penalties.

"Drug addiction is a problem for all people. We cannot solve the problem by beating drug addicts. They are sick people, they need medical treatment, and the problem should be solved at the government level," wrote in her comment a user aka Gazzaeva Larisa.

However, social network users also expressed other points of view. "Well done, guys. The act that cannot be done by the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) and the Drug Control are done by ordinary young guys for the sake of the nation's health. I say bravo once again," wrote a user aka Valeriy Gazzaev.
