Akhmed Akhmedov, specialist in Islamic medicine, disappears in Dagestan

43-year-old Akhmed Akhmedov, well-known in Dagestan as a specialist in Islamic medicine as "Doctor Akhmad", stopped contacting his relatives and friends in the afternoon on September 24.

The wife of Akhmed Akhmedov believes her husband could fell victim to law enforcers' provocations, since he was a follower of the Salafi trend of Islam.

According to the Dagestani edition "Novoe Delo", because of the long absence of information about the Akhmed Akhmedov's whereabouts, his advocate Israfil Gadadov filed complaints to the law enforcement agencies.
