Nagorno-Karabakh: Azerbaijan makes 2500 shots in a week

For the week of September 3-9, the Azerbaijani armed forces made more than 2500 shots at the positions at the Defence Army on the contact line. This was reported by the Ministry of Defence (MoD) for Nagorno-Karabakh.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that in the period from August 27 to September 2, Nagorno-Karabakh counted more than 2200 shots from the Azerbaijani side.

During the period from September 3 to 9, the situation at the contact line was relatively quiet, reported the press service of the Nagorno-Karabakh MoD.

For the period from September 3 to 9, Azerbaijan reported daily violations of the ceasefire by the Armenian side and counted 690 cases of shelling against its positions in total. According to the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defence, only during the past day, the Azerbaijani positions were shelled 103 times.
