Law enforcers: student in Khasavyurt killed by Valid Motsaev

At a meeting with relatives of a student killed in Khasavyurt, officials from the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) for Dagestan have stated the student was shot and killed by Valid Motsaev, the leader of the Khasavyurt militant grouping. The video from the place of the murder is published on the Internet.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on September 5, a suspected militant and a civilian were killed during the counterterrorist operation (CTO) in the Khasavyurt District, and a policeman was wounded.

According to the Investigating Department for Dagestan of the Investigating Committee of the Russian Federation (ICRF), Valid Motsaev, the leader of the "Khasavyurt" grouping of militants, and a civilian were killed in Khasavyurt and not in the Khasavyurt District. Meanwhile, "when offered to lay down his arms and surrender, Valid Motsaev opened fire, and as a result a policeman was wounded."

The page hasavyrt_today in Instagram published a video, allegedly made near a morgue. Judging by the video record, a brother of the murdered student came to the morgue building.
