Detained 48-year-old Akhmet Baloev is suspected of aiding and abetting the Malgobek grouping of militants, which members were killed in the village of Psedakh. This was reported by a source from the Ingush law enforcement agencies.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on August 23, in the village of Psedakh, law enforcers killed Bekkhan Soltukiev, the leader of the Malgobek grouping of militants, and its members Mikail Cherbizhev and Khasan Khatsiev. To determine the number of the killed suspects, investigators appointed a genetic examination.

In the basement of the house, where the militants were killed, law enforcers found an underground bunker and a workshop for manufacturing explosive devices. The Ingush leader called the house the last base of local militants.

According to the law enforcement agencies, since 2012, Akhmet Baloev was a member of the "Malgobek sector", led by Bekkhan Soltukiev, who was killed on August 23. Akhmet Baloev provided shelter for Bekkhan Soltukiev, Mikail Cherbizhev and Khasan Khatsiev, killed with him, as well as for Arthur Gatagazhev, the leader of the Malgobek militant grouping, who was killed in May 2014, the source reports.

According to the preliminary information, the detainee bought food and medicine for members of the Malgobek militant grouping and also transported them in his car. After learning about the special operation in the Psedakh village, Akhmet Baloev tried to escape, but was detained.
