In Gelendzhik, participant of estate investors' rally charged with administrative offence

In Gelendzhik, during a rally held by deceived real estate investors, the police drew up a protocol against 18-year-old Kirill Yaroslavtsev on violation of the rules for holding a public action. Kirill Yaroslavtsev believes the police drew up the protocol against him for a poster with the demand to dismiss judges of the Krasnodar Regional Court.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on August 5, in Gelendzhik, owners of cottages in the village of Pushkinsky Dol, who fell victim to fraud with land plots, held a protest action. During their action, law enforcers voiced no claims against the protestors. However, several days after the rally, policemen began visiting participants of the action to draw up protocols on administrative violations.

18-year-old Kirill Yaroslavtsev, who took part in the rally, got summons to appear at the Gelendzhik City Court on August 15.

Kirill Yaroslavtsev himself told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent that the protocol against him was drawn up on August 11. He is charged with the fact that he was standing with a poster in his hands with the demand to dismiss two judges.

"This is my opinion, which I expressed at the sanctioned rally. However, the police believe that I thereby offended the authorities in the person of those two judges," Kirill Yaroslavtsev said.

His advocate Mikhail Benyash treats the police's actions as unlawful.

He has noted that in the course of the action, the police voiced no claims against its participants.

"However, after the rally, the police start voicing claims against people and draw up protocols against them. Although protocols should be drawn up at place of offence on the day it is committed," the advocate emphasized.
