"Caucasian Knot" clarifies work motives for five southern Alexei Navalny's offices (+video)

People support Alexei Navalny mainly for his struggle against corruption. This opinion was voiced by volunteers of Alexei Navalny's offices in five southern cities of Russian Federation. The opponents of Alexei Navalny criticize involvement of schoolchildren in the protests and talk about the "artificial nature" for the oppositionist's political struggle.

In the material "Alexei Navalny's volunteers: paid PR or an attempt to solve the problems of the regions", the "Caucasian Knot" analyses the information on the results of the visit of its correspondent to five Alexei Navalny's offices, including in Astrakhan, Volgograd, Krasnodar, Rostov-on-Don, and Stavropol.

17-year-old Artyom Terbalyan and Vano Burdjanyan, involved in the activities of the Astrakhan Alexei Navalny's office, as well as Vadim Kobzev, a volunteer of the Rostov oppositionist's office, said that they were encouraged to join the activists' movement by the film "He is not Dimon for you" by Alexei Navalny.

Maria Evtyunina, a 19-year-old student of the Volgograd University, and entrepreneur Elvira Tarasenko said that in the Alexei Navalny's programme, they were attracted by the change of power.

27-year-old economist Roman Inozemtsev, a volunteer of the Alexei Navalny's office in Krasnodar, said that he was "encouraged by the difficult economic situation in the country" to join the oppositionist. Meanwhile, Victoria Veter, a 27-year-old feminist from Stavropol, who worked as a freelancer, decided to support the Alexei Navalny's office for "interesting people involved in it."

Besides, the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent also met opponents of Alexei Navalny, including members of the CPRF (Communist Party of the Russian Federation) and the movement of the All-Russian People's Front. The opponents doubted the opposition's ability to solve the problem of corruption.

According to Khalit Aitov, a member of the CPRF"s Central Committee and the secretary of the committee for organizational and personnel activities of the CPRF"s regional committee for Astrakhan, the Alexei Navalny's appeal to young people is of "adventurous nature."

"Involvement of schoolchildren of 15-16 years old in actions, discussing serious changes in the society, is very doubtful. They do not clearly understand their protest. The disclosures stated by Alexei Navalny are very suspicious," Khalit Aitov said.
