KBR’s wrestler from wins European Championship

During the European Junior Freestyle Wrestling Championship, Alik Shebzukhov, an athlete from the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic (KBR), has won the first place in the weight category of up to 85 kilograms.

The European Junior Freestyle Wrestling Championship takes place in Sarajevo in Bosnia and Herzegovina in starting from July 24, reports the website of the Russian Wrestling Federation.

On July 25, Alik Shebzukhov, an athlete from the ARR sports club, defeated a fighter from Turkey in the final fight, the RIA "Kabardino-Balkaria" reports with reference to the press service for the Russian Wrestling Federation.

According to the above RIA, Ismail-Bek Nirov, another KBR’s athlete, in the weight category of up to 100 kilograms, will take part in the final fight.

The "Caucasian Knot" has also reported that on July 21, it became known about the victory of Dagestani judoka Ruslan Askerov at the Surdolympics in Turkey.
