Trial of Imam Yaraliev starts
The court has begun considering the case of Imam Yaraliev, a former Mayor of Derbent, accused of transferring federal land plots to a municipality.
The case is considered by the Yessentuki City Court, the "AiF-Dagestan" has clarified.
The “Caucasian Knot” has reported that on April 3 it became known about the transfer of Yaraliev’s case to the court; he is tried under the article of "abuse of office by a local self-government head."
According to investigators, Yaraliev had signed four resolutions on delivering 11 land plots of total area of over 12,000 square meters from the federal ownership to the city of Derbent.
