Presidents Aliev and Putin hold unannounced meeting in Sochi

On July 21, the Presidents of Russia and Azerbaijan met in Sochi, where they reaffirmed the partnership relations between the two countries and, in particular, discussed the Karabakh conflict.

"During the meeting between Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliev and Russian President Vladimir Putin in Sochi, the issues related to the settlement of the Armenian-Azerbaijani Nagorno-Karabakh conflict were discussed," the Azerbaijani presidential press service reported.

During the conversation, the parties noted the successful development of bilateral relations in the political, economic, humanitarian and other spheres, the RIA "Novosti" reports today with reference to the press service.

The meeting of the Presidents of Russia and Azerbaijan was held on July 21, and it was not announced in advance. Today, the working visit of the Azerbaijani President to Russia was finished, the "Azeriaj" reports.
