Maria Kuchina wins Monaco tournament with record

Maria Lasitskiene (Kuchina), a track and field athlete from Kabardino-Balkaria, has won the "Diamond League" tournament in Monaco.

Maria Kuchina, who competes under a neutral flag, showed the result of 2.05 meters.

The height is the record for the competitions in Monaco. The victory at the tournament became the 14th in a row for Maria, the "Sportbox.ru" reports.

Let us remind you that in the summer of 2016, the IAAF refused Russian athletes in admission to participation in the 2016 Olympic Games in connection with the inflated doping scandal. As a result, Russian track and field athletes were deprived of the right to take part in international tournaments. A number of athletes, including Maria Kuchina, applied for participation in international competitions under a neutral flag. This April, the IAAF admitted Maria Kuchina to participation in international competitions.
