Chechen authorities decide to improve republic's image

The Chechen Ministry for National Policy, External Relations, Press and Information has concluded a cooperation agreement with the "VisitCaucasus" Foundation to form a positive public opinion on Chechnya.

On July 17, the agreement was signed during the third business session "Invest in the Caucasus" held in Grozny, the press service of the Ministry for Northern Caucasus Affairs reported.

The cooperation agreement has been signed by Djambulat Umarov, Chechen Minister for National Policy, External Relations, Press and Information, and Rifa Bitkova, the general director of the "VisitCaucasus" Foundation.

Rifa Bitkova has expressed her hope that the initiatives of the "VisitCaucasus" Foundation implemented in cooperation with the Chechen authorities "will be positively perceived by wide circles of the public and will encourage the activities in the region on improving the investment climate and implementing projects in the economy and tourism," reports the statement posted on the website of the Ministry for Northern Caucasus Affairs.
