Kadyrov criticizes Umakhanov for his assessment of situation in Leninaul

When calling the arrival of the Chechen delegation in the village of Leninaul a "visit of enemies," the Dagestani Minister has afforded a provocative statement with regard to the authorities of Chechnya. This has been stated by Ramazan Abdulatipov. Earlier, Saighidpasha Umakhanov, Dagestani Minister of Energy, has claimed the need to "rebuff the enemies."

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on July 7, law enforcers restricted entry to the village of Leninaul in the Kazbek District in connection with the information about a people's gathering of the Chechen community. A clash between the community members and law enforcers occurred near a police checkpoint.

At a meeting with law enforcement officials held on July 13, Ramzan Kadyrov reported that the arrival of the Chechen delegation in Dagestan during the unrest in the Kazbek District had been agreed with Dagestani leader Ramazan Abdulatipov.

On July 9, Dagestani leader Ramazan Abdulatipov visited the Kazbek District. He promised to restore the Aukh District, without inclusion into it of the villages of Leninaul and Kalininaul. This was reported by local residents.

On July 10, Saighidpasha Umakhanov, Dagestani Minister for Transport, Energy and Communications, claimed that some "external forces had interfered in the conflict in Leninaul to destabilize the calm situation in the republic."

Saighidpasha Umakhanov has also wrote on his page in Instagram that "people have just enough and even a small drop of violence will cause a serious response."

On April 23, 2014, Ramzan Kadyrov announced the Saighidpasha Umakhanov's involvement in the armed underground. According to his version, a Saighidpasha's brother financed the Dagestani armed underground. On the other day, Saighidpasha Umakhanov replied that his "religious and moral views" did not allow him entering a dispute with Ramzan Kadyrov, since he was a close friend of Akhmat Kadyrov, Ramzan's father and the first Chechen President.
