Judge's car burnt down in Makhachkala

The Dagestani Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) has launched an inquiry into the arson of a foreign-made car in Makhachkala. The car belonged to Patimat Makhatilova, a Federal Judge of the Sovietsky District Court of Makhachkala, the capital of Dagestan, local law enforcement sources have reported.

According to police, at night on June 29, in Kerimov Street in Makhachkala, an unidentified person set a Nissan X-Trail car on fire.

The car is worth 1.5 million roubles, the edition named "Dagestan" has specified.

The car burnt down completely; no one was hurt. The arson was fixed by a video surveillance camera, the "Chernovik" writes with reference to its law enforcement source.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on March 31, a fire broke out in Kindergarten No. 56 in Makhachkala. Murad Ibaev, a security, was suspected of the arson. A video record posted on the Internet shows a person, who named himself Ibaev, admitting guilt. However, his advocate asserts that Ibaev was forced to give confessions.
