In Gyumri, a man wounded in a street

According to the police, a report on shooting in Sayat-Nova Street came at about 9:50 p.m. Moscow time on June 25.

Later, staff members of the medical centre in Gyumri reported to the police that a man with a gunshot wound to his abdomen area had been brought to them, the "Armenian News-NEWS.am" reports.

Wounded 30-year-old Georgy Akopyan himself addressed doctors for help. The man underwent surgery, and his condition remains severe but stable, the "Sputnik Armenia" reports with reference to Armen Khachatryan, the deputy director of the medical centre.

Karen Gabrielyan, the Prosecutor of the Shirak Region, has reported on the institution of a criminal case on the incident. "It has not been still possible to question the victim, since he was not able to answer any questions," reported Karen Gabrielyan as quoted by the "Sputnik Armenia".
