Mines kill 100 in Azerbaijan

One hundred died because of mine explosions and 350 were disabled over the past 11 years in Azerbaijan, Deputy Prime Minister Abid Sharifov told Interfax at a meeting of the sponsors of projects for combating the mine threat. The victims included women and children, he added.

The ceasefire agreement between Azerbaijan and Armenia was singed in May 1994.
