Volgograd Communists hold picket and demand resignation of Russian Govt

Today, Communists of Volgograd have held a picket, dedicated to the Cosmonautics Day, near the building of the planetarium. According to the regional committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation (CPRF), the action was 30 people strong.

The picketers were holding posters, which, in particular, demanded resignation of the Russian Government, abolition of the Social Code and halt to rise in prices and tariffs, the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent reports.

"We demand resignation of the Govt... We state that thousands of people, entire families, are without subsistence means; there is a huge rise of unemployment, which can contribute to the growth of crime. We came to support entrepreneurs, who are losing their businesses, deceived co-investors and other socially unprotected population groups," Andrei Shevchenko, the secretary of the regional committee of the CPRF, told the" Caucasian Knot "correspondent.
