Five IEDs found during searches in Derbent

In Derbent, law enforcers found explosive devices during searches carried out at five places of relatives and acquaintances of suspected militants. This was reported by a source from the law enforcement bodies of the region.

Earlier, it has been reported about two improvised explosive devices (IEDs) found during searches on April 11. The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that searches were carried out in five houses, and the explosive devices were destroyed.

"Three IEDs in a form of a 'bucket' (buckets filled with explosive mixture accompanied with damaging elements and filled with mounting foam) and two 'shahid belts' were found," the "Life" quotes a source from the law enforcement bodies of the region.

Two IEDs were neutralized at the place with a pressure charge, and three others were taken out of the city for further liquidation, reports the "Komsomolskaya Pravda in Northern Caucasus" with reference to a source from the law enforcement bodies of Dagestan.
