Debt of Dagestani enterprises for electricity exceeds half billion roubles

As of January 1, the debt of industrial enterprises of Dagestan for electricity exceeded the amount of 92.2 million roubles, while the debt of non-industrial sector exceeded 412 million roubles. This was reported by the "Dagestani Energy Retail Company", which also announced its intention to cut off electricity supply to 196 debtors in February.

Earlier, the "Caucasian Knot" has reported debts of Dagestani consumers to electricity suppliers. In particular, in October 2016, the total debt of the Makhachkala public utility sector has exceeded 3 billion roubles.

The "Dagestani Energy Retail Company" claims reporting the problem of arrears to the regional authorities and the law enforcement authorities. However, the most effective mean of debt collection is still disconnection of the power supply to consumers.

"Meanwhile, the company is ready to enter a constructive dialogue with each debtor to develop debt repayment mechanisms," reported managers of the Public Joint-Stock Company (PJSC) "Dagestani Energy Retail Company".

Let us remind you that in March 2016, the "Dagestani Energy Retail Company" held in the capital of Dagestan raids to disconnect the power supply to companies, the total debt of which exceeded 34 million roubles.
