Nine people detained in Stavropol for submachine gun shooting
In a garage located in one of residential areas of Stavropol, a group of young people opened automatic fire with light-stun rounds in celebration of the New Year, the "Rosgvardia" (Russian Guards) Administration for the StavropolTerritory has reported.
"In one of the garage cooperatives, nine citizens opened fire from a Kalashnikov by using light-stun rounds. The infringers of public order were detained by 'Rosgvardia' members," says the message of the above Administration.
In the course of questioning, the detainees have explained that "they used the firearm to maintain their high spirits on the New Year holidays", the "Interfax" reports today with reference to the "Rosgvardia".
According to the Administration, four pieces of plastic bottles with the substance of vegetable origin, a Kalashnikov submachine gun and ammunition were confiscated from the garage.
