Heart failure caused death of Russian military in Yerevan
The death of a Russian officer Victor Emelyanov in Yerevan has been officially confirmed today by the press service of the Russian military base of the Southern Military District, stationed in Armenia.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that the body of a Russian citizen, the 45-year-old Victor Emelyanov, was found in one of the rooms of the Yerevan hotel "Friendship" on January 1.
The examination of the body revealed no traces of violent death, said the above press service.
"According to preliminary data, an acute heart failure could cause his death," the press service quotes the message of the "Sputnik-Armenia".
The command of the Russian military base in Armenia is establishing, in cooperation with local law enforcers, all the circumstances of Victor Emelyanov's death, the "News.am" has added.
