Two persons killed in Shamil District of Dagestan

A shootout of law enforcers with the alleged militants occurred in the outskirt of the village of Teletl; two people were killed.

The shootout has been reported today by a local law enforcement source. According to his version, law enforcers found, in the course of a counterterrorist operation (CTO), armed men near Teletl and ordered them to surrender; however, they opened fire.

Power agents believe that both casualties were members of the armed underground; they are now being identified, the "Interfax" quotes the source as saying.
