In Dagestan, a school named after Magomed Nurbagandov
In Dagestan, a Dibgalik secondary school of the Dakhadaev District is named after Hero of Russia Magomed Nurbagandov.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on July 10, in the village of Sergokala, militants shot dead two young men, one of whom was policeman Magomed Nurbagandov. On September 7, in a mobile phone of a militant killed in a special operation in Izberbash, law enforcers found a video showing how Magomed Nurbagandov was shot and killed. On September 21, Vladimir Putin signed a decree to award the Dagestani policemen the title of Hero of Russia. In Grozny, a street was named after Magomed Nurbagandov.
The opening ceremony of the memorial plaque, held on November 26, was attended by local and national government officials, staff members of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA), and Nurbagand Nurbagandov, the father of the killed policeman.
In accordance with the resolution signed by the head of the Dakhadaev District, Nurbagand Nurbagandov, the father of the Hero of Russian, was awarded the title of "Honorary Citizen of the Dakhadaev District".
