Students of Dagestani Medical University stand for their lecturer who got undressed

Today, students of the Dagestani Medical University have held a rally in support of their lecturer Kamil Magomedov, who got off his clothes during the lecture.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on November 7, during a lecture, the Associate Professor of the Histologic Anatomy Chair at the Dagestani Medical University suddenly got off his clothes in front of his students. One of the students recorded the incident on video and posted it on the Internet.

According to the students, the rally was attended by 250-300 people. They demanded to bring to justice the persons disseminating the video.

"The man is sick, he has a brain tumour. And that was the reason for his behaviour. He is a good man and a great lecturer. He needs medical help. A category of disability is to be granted to him, but he should not be dismissed," said student Magomed Gaziev.

Kamil Magomedov has been suspended from work, but the question of his dismissal has not yet been resolved, reports a staff member of the rector's administration of the university.

After the incident, Kamil Magomedov was detained as a suspect in disorderly conduct. The lecturer said he did not remember what had happened. He is to undergo appointed psychiatric examination, the "Komsomolskaya Pravda in Northern Caucasus" reports.

Sultan Khamzaev, the deputy chairman of the Russian Public Chamber Commission to support youth initiatives, has demanded to test the lecturer for drug use.
