A man killed by law enforcers in Dagestan

This morning, a shootout has taken place in the Suleiman-Stalsky District of Dagestan. According to the law enforcement bodies, an armed man opened fire on law enforcers and was killed.

The armed clash took place at about 10:00 a.m. near a state-owned farm name after Gereikhanov, reports a source from the law enforcement bodes for the region.

The killed man has been preliminary identified as Rasmin Magomedov, a member of the "Southern" grouping of militants, the "Interfax" reports with reference to a source from the law enforcement bodies.

The law enforcement bodies treat killed Rasmin Magomedov as "the last active member of the 'Southern' criminal grouping," who was also directly involved in school arson in the village of Djulie, the "TASS" reports with reference to a source from the Dagestani law enforcement bodies.

Let us remind you that the arson of the old school building in the Tabasaran village of Djulie was committed on April 20. According to the law enforcement bodies, the school building was set on fire by Rasmin Magomedov, a local resident, a member of the "Southern" grouping of militants. The "Caucasian Knot" was told by residents of the village of Djulie that later, the house of Rasmin Magomedov was blown up: according to the official version, law enforcers thus defused a bomb found inside the house.
