Seven persons walk across Krasnodar as "Russian March"

Krasnodar nationalists failed three times to coordinate the today's "Russian March" with the authorities; and, finally, only seven persons came to the action, and its route was essentially cut.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that in Krasnodar nationalists traditionally hold "Russian March" on November 4, the Day of National Unity. In 2015, they also failed to receive the authorities' sanction, but the march was held and attended by 70-250 persons by various estimates.

The authorities' refusal to sanction this year's "Russian March" in Krasnodar was unjustified, Alexei Mandrigelya, a Krasnodar activist and participant in of "Russian Marches", told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.

"As always, they invent various pretexts. We applied for a permit to hold the march for three times; three times we were rejected; for example, they motivated the refusal by the fact that another event would be at the same time in the same place," said Mandrigelya.

As a result, only seven persons came to the action. According to Alexei Mandrigelya, the reason was in poor organization of the action and bad weather in the city.
