Today, Abubakar Udziev, called by law enforcers the leader of the militants from the Dagestan village of Gubden and announced killed on October 12, has been mentioned among the persons wanted by the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) for Kabardino-Balkaria. The MIA has promised to pay a reward for the information that would help detain him.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on October 12, a special operation was carried out in the village of Gubden, and as a result of it, three persons were killed. Law enforcers reported that the killed men were identified as Abubakar Udziev, his Sharia wife Khalimat Magomedova, and his cousin Osman Udziev.
Today, the Ministries of Internal Affairs for the regions of Northern Caucasus have published on the websites the reports on wanted active militant leaders. The MIAs guarantee anonymity and reward for those persons who will report the information about the wanted militants. So, the report, posted at 9:37 a.m. by the Chechen MIA, listed nine wanted persons.
The MIA for Kabardino-Balkaria has published its wanted list at 1:51 p.m. Unlike their Chechen colleagues, the law enforcers from Kabardino-Balkaria did not specify the amount of reward, and their list included ten wanted persons. This tenth wanted person is Abubakar Magomedkamilovich Udziev, born in 1975.
Till present, no comments are available from MIA's officials to explain whether the inclusion of Abubakar Udziev in the wanted list means that the original information on the men killed in Gubden on October 12 is not confirmed.
