Two policemen killed in KBR

Four attackers shelled a unit of the road-and-post service (known as the DPS) in the Prokhladnensky District of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic (KBR) and killed two policemen.

The incident occurred tonight at about 2:30 a.m. in the city of Prokhladny.

"Four unidentified persons, who travelled in a black Lada Priora car, opened fire at two DPS inspectors, who were in their patrol car," said the Investigating Committee of the Russian Federation (ICRF) for the KBR.

According to the ICRF, two policemen died from received wounds; the attackers are being searched for.
