Today, Chechnya celebrates the Day of Grozny, the Teachers' Day and the Day of Chechen Youth, as well as the Ramzan Kadyrov's birthday. Moreover, today, Ramzan Kadyrov will officially take office as the leader of Chechnya.

Starting from the evening of October 4, the central part of the Chechen capital is completely blocked for traffic.

Residents of Grozny note that metal detectors are installed at the entrances to the building of the State Theatre and Concert Hall. According to Aid-Akhmad, a resident of Grozny, people are allowed to come closer to the building only in accordance with the lists of names held by the police.

The Ramzan Kadyrov's inauguration has "as if by chance coincided with his birthday," notes a leader of a local NGO.

Meanwhile, according to Alvi Karimov, the press secretary of the leader of Chechnya, the inauguration of Ramzan Kadyrov has "by chance" coincided with his birthday.
