Sergey Mironov leaves Armenia for Russia

Sergey Mironov, a Russian citizen, who was not arrested by court in Armenia at the request of the US, took off from Yerevan to Moscow. This has been reported today by the Sergey Mironov's advocate.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on August 30, it became known that the Sergey Mironov's flight from Armenia to Russia was scheduled for today.

The Russian citizen Sergey Mironov, who works as a programmer for a Russian-Belarusian company, was detained in Yerevan on 26 August. He faced extradition to the United States; the USA have charged Mironov under the articles of the US Criminal Code: "Conspiracy to violate Arms Export Control Act" and "An attempt to violate Arms Export Control Act", as well as with money laundering. However, on August 29, Yerevan court refused to arrest Mironov.

Programmer Sergey Mironov was detained in Yerevan on August 26. In the US, he faces charges of money laundering and an attempt to violate the law on arms exports controls. However, on August 29, in Yerevan, the court refused to arrest Sergey Mironov.

Today, Karen Nersisyan, the Sergey Mironov's advocate, has reported that his client left for Russia.
