Nine persons wounded during the capture of PPS building in Yerevan are still in hospitals

Nine victims of the capture of the building of the patrol-and-post (PPS) police regiment in Yerevan continue taking their treatment in hospitals. The condition of one of them – the policeman Gagik Mkrtchyan – is assessed as extremely grave, said the spokesman for the Ministry of Public Health (MPH) of Armenia.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on July 17, supporters of the "Constituent Parliament" captured the above building and kept it until July 31. On the day of capture, a policeman was killed, and six people were wounded. On July 29, a march was held in support of the rebels, which was dispersed by policemen. On July 30, 55 marchers and four policemen were hospitalized.

According to Anahit Aitayan, the head of the press service of the MPH of Armenia, two policemen and a journalist are still in hospitals.

Let us remind you that according to the Special Investigating Service of Armenia, 44 persons have been accused in the case of the capture of the police building.
