First shift of "Mashuk-2016" focuses on small businesses and preservation of traditions

On August 5, Pyatigorsk opened the seventh youth educational forum "Mashuk". The event is organized by the federal authorities and is aimed at attracting young people to address the socio-economic and socio-political problems.

The forum is attended by delegations from Dagestan, Kabardino-Balkaria, Karachay-Cherkessia, North Ossetia, Chechnya, Ingushetia, and the Stavropol Territory.

The programme of the first shift of the forum, which will last until August 12, includes three main focus areas. Of them, the first area, "Social Entrepreneurship", focuses on how to create in the North-Caucasian Federal District (NCFD) a "base of young journalists, PR experts, and bloggers," to form the information agenda in the region and to organize social projects and NGOs.

The "Business Space" is dedicated to the development in the NCFD of small forms of businesses and support of the economy, including in remote districts. And finally, the third area of activity is titled as "Youth Creative Work", and it focuses on the development and monetization of youth creative work, preservation and reproduction of national traditions, the website of the forum reports.
