Yunus-Bek Evkurov orders to dismiss officials for poor supervision over construction of houses
Ingush leader Yunus-Bek Evkurov has ordered to dismiss officials of the Ingush supervisory services, who failed to detect deficiencies during the construction in the village of Yandare of multi-apartment houses for internally displaced persons (IDPs).
According to the press service of the Ingush leader, the dismissals will affect officials of construction supervision department and technical supervision department of the Directorate of Federal Target Programme on socio-economic development of the region until 2016.
The commission has detected the wrong arrangement of perimeter walks, use of pipes with narrower diameter than prescribed by standards, as well as bad boiler operation, the "Interfax-South" reports with reference to the press service of the Ingush leader.
Residents of the new residential district in the village of Yandare have complained about the violations committed during the construction. On July 14, a gathering was held, which was attended by Yunus-Bek Evkurov. The Ingush leader has promised the residents to solve the problems with water supply and sewerage system operation. Furthermore, a school, a kindergarten, a policlinic, a cultural centre, and a police station will be constructed in the new residential district, reports the website of the Ingush leader and Ingush government.
The "Caucasian Knot" has also reported that on May 23, Yunus-Bek Evkurov promised to complete this year the construction of houses for IDPs from Chechnya.
