Volgograd entrepreneurs complain about administrative barriers

In Volgograd, at the All-Russian Forum "Movement only forward!" entrepreneurs have claimed the negative impact on business from inspections conducted by various agencies. Officials from the regulatory and supervisory authorities note that the number of inspections in relation to small and medium businesses has been decreased.

The forum was opened on July 13. During the roundtables, participants discussed the issues of administrative barriers, prospects for development of small and medium businesses in spheres of trade and tourism, export potential, and support of social entrepreneurship. The forum was attended by about 400 entrepreneurs and experts.

The event was organized by the administration of the Volgograd Region and the All-Russian public organization of small and medium businesses "OPORA Rossii".

According to Yuri Karamdin, the chief of the State Inspectorate of Labour in the Volgograd Region, in 2016, the number of inspections has been decreased.

In turn, entrepreneurs complained about the large number of inspections and administrative barriers.

Sergey Orlov, Director of the advertising company "Gorsportinform", has reported that "since 2014, sales fell by 43%, and every third employee was made redundant."
