Girl from Chechen family injured in terror act in Nice

The number of the people injured in the terror act in Nice includes a girl from a Chechen family living in France. The girl got injuries to her legs. This was reported by a female friend of her parents.

On July 14, in Nice Promenade, a terror act was committed during the celebration of Bastille Day. A truck drove into a crowd of people at high speed. As a result, 84 people were killed, including a woman from Armenia.

According to Zareta Alieva, a resident of Moscow, who came to Nice to visit her female relative, the child needed surgery.

"The truck drove over her legs. She got fractured bones of both legs, and she is now undergoing surgery," said the woman as quoted by the RIA "Novosti".

The Tunisian Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) has confirmed the name of the truck driver, who was killed in the terror act by the police. He was Mohamed Lahouaiej Bouhlel, a native of Tunisia, born in 1985, the "Kommersant" reports.
