Resident of Kabardino-Balkaria arrested on suspicion of aiding and abetting militants

A resident of the Zolskoe District of Kabardino-Balkaria is suspected of financing militants. He is arrested by the decision of the court.

According to the Chief Department for the North-Caucasian Federal District (NCFD) of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA), the suspect "was engaged in aiding and abetting militants in the period from August 2013 till March 2014".

"A 27-year-old resident of the Zolskoe District of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic (KBR) was engaged in aiding and abetting militants. He provided cash to members of illegal armed formations (IAFs) liquidated during special operations," reports the website of the Russian MIA's Chief Department for the NCFD.
