Sergey Mitrokhin demands to release scientist in Kuban

Sergey Mitrokhin, a member of the Federal Political Committee of the "Yabloko" Party, has appealed to the General Prosecutor of Russia and the Minister of Internal Affairs with the demand to release scientist Dmitry Golovin, who was sentenced in the Krasnodar territory to 10 days of administrative arrest on the charge of disobeying the police.

According to Sergey Mitrokhin, young scientist Dmitry Golovin with his girlfriend tried to make selfie using a quadrocopter on the beach near the recreation complex "Strela" (Arrow) in Gelendzhik and was detained by staff members of the private guard service "Rubin", under the pretext that it was a secret area. This was reported by the press service of the "Yabloko" Party.

"According to local residents, the complex 'Strela' with a luxury sanatorium belongs to Alina Kabaeva," states the message, published on the website of the "Yabloko" Party on June 20.

Dmitry Golovin was sentenced to 10 days of administrative arrest under Article 19.3 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation (disobedience to the police), "although he did not rendered resistance."

Sergey Mitrokhin treats the detention of the young scientist as unlawful. He has demanded from Yuri Chaika, General Prosecutor of Russia, and Vladimir Kolokoltsev, Minister of Internal Affairs, to release Dmitry Golovin, reports the press service of the "Yabloko" Party.
