Relatives of Omar Musaev demand to let them into police building (+video)

Relatives of Salafi Omar Musaev, kidnapped in Khasavyurt, hold a rally in front of the local ROVD (District Interior Division). Law enforcers have assured the protesters that Omar Musaev is not being kept at their place; however, they refused to let them into the building.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that entrepreneur Omar Musaev was kidnapped on June 9. Surveillance cameras recorded how he was escaping from men in masked and how he was hit by a car at that moment. His persecutors forced him into their car and drove him away. At the rally held on June 14, relatives of Omar Musaev have announced their intention to continue protesting every day until they are informed about the whereabouts of the disappeared man.

According to the protesters, the today's rally at the OVD (Interior Division) was attended about a hundred people.

On June 11, family members of Omar Musaev together with relatives of Salafi Magomed Suleimanov, who disappeared on June 3, held a rally in Makhachkala. Ramazan Djafarov, Deputy Prime Minister of Dagestan, has promised them to report on the situation to Ramazan Abdulatipov.
