Nagorno-Karabakh reports on shelling of its positions
Last night, Azerbaijani forces shelled positions of Nagorno-Karabakh from small arms. This has been reported today by the Ministry of Defence (MoD) of Nagorno-Karabakh.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that the parties to the Karabakh conflict regularly accuse each other of violation of the truce, concluded on April 5. Thus, on June 9, Azerbaijan accused Armenia of 27 cases of shelling per day, and according to the Armenian MoD, the Armenian village of Baganis was shelled at night of June 9.
According to the Nagorno-Karabakh MoD, at night of June 10, the situation on the contact line of the troops remained "relatively calm." However, Azerbaijan "violated the ceasefire by using small arms."
"In general, units of the Defence Army observe the ceasefire," reported the Nagrono-Karabakh MoD as quoted today by the "Sputnik-Armenia".
Till present, officials of the Azerbaijani MoD have not commented on the above statements.
