Armenian village of Baganis shelled

Last night, in Armenia, houses in the village of Baganis of the Tavush Region were shelled. The Armenian Ministry of Defence (MoD) has confirmed the information about the shelling.

At about midnight, the village of Baganis was shelled for half an hour, reports on Facebook Narek Saakyan, the head of the community. According to him, the shelling damaged roofs and shattered windows of houses.

"Pupils of the 11th form were returning from an excursion, and they had to stay at the entrance to Baganis at a secure secret place to wait till the stop of the shelling," the head of the community has added.

According to Narek Saakyan, this morning, the situation in Baganis is calm. Today, the local school holds exams.

At night of June 9, the village of Baganis was indeed shelled. This was confirmed to the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent at the Armenian MoD.
