Victims recall their claims in case of terror act in "Domodedovo" Airport, advocate reports

In the criminal case of the terror act committed at the "Domodedovo" Airport in 2011, the victims receive compensation and recall their claims against the top-managers of the "Domodedovo" Airport, filed in the criminal case. This was reported by advocate Igor Trunov. He has noted that 14 persons have already received compensation.

On January 24, 2011, the explosion at "Domodedovo" killed 37 people and wounded 172 others. According to investigators, the explosive device was triggered by a suicide bomber Magomed Evloev. Four senior officials of "Domodedovo", including the co-owner Dmitry Kamenschik, are accused of poor organization of screening visitors to the airport.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that 40 victims filed multimillion-rouble claims against the "Domodedovo" Airport. According to their advocates, on receipt of compensation, they are willing to settle the claims through amicable agreement. On June 7, the administration of the "Domodedovo" Airport started to pay out compensation to the victims of the terror act.

"Tomorrow, on June 9, we go to the Investigating Committee of the Russian Federation (ICRF) to recall the claims earlier filed against the top-managers of the 'Domodedovo' Airport in the criminal case," said Igor Trunov, the victims' advocate. He has also noted that the other victims will also recall their claims as soon as they get paid compensation.

Till present, according to the advocate, 14 persons have already received compensation.

The advocate has also noted that Elena Krivolutskaya, a victim in the case of the terror act committed at the "Domodedovo" Airport in 2011, is going to recall her claim against the airport top-managers filed to the European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR), the RIA "Novosti" reports.
